I realize I've been back on dA for a couple of months now, and I haven't really mentioned
The Glass Urchin. It's not really my opus or anything, but it marks a huge step for me as a person and as an artist - it's the first time I've truly done a comic, and I'm 50 pages (an oral surgery, a new job, a new apartment, and very little free time) in and I still haven't missed an update day. Yes, I am still surprised at this fact. And the comic is teaching me a lot in return - basically how to get things done faster, but I'm also learning how to better my art. At least I hope there's some discernible improvements over the course of the comic.
Anyway, please take a look at it. It's nothing epic, it's not a fantasy about faraway lands and amazing creatures, or a hero or space or zombies. Well okay, maybe there will be a little zombie involvement. But it's my story, and I hope it bring you a little chuckle or interesting thought. I'll be continuing to upload more pages, past and present, as time permits, but do check it out in it's original format, updating Tues & Thurs, here:
